Be empowered, not PC, to avoid discrimination

Being "PC" does not, in general, prevent discrimination and can just reinforce it. See my article here: http://dpets.co.uk/Empowerment/notpc.html. Of course, being alert to, for example, the terminology we use can help us to be aware of tendencies to discriminate.
